Doing some research into already existing record labels prior to creating my own will help me create a logo which is going to stand out against other brands and take inspiration from pre-existing logos.
All of the logos are simplistic but effective. The images themselves are not cluttered and look professional with typically black, white or red colouring.
Many of the record labels i have put into a mood board are ones who manage artists from the pop genre. These are 'Alcopop!, TEN MUSIC GROUP, Capitol Music Group, Cherry Tree, SUB POP' and also some of the major big labels like Sony, Warner, Universal and EMI.
Icona Pop's current record label is TEN MUSIC GROUP.
